Hey, James,

Glad CM monthly is back. Great podcast. I look forward to hearing from your new co-host although I am going to miss Dave’s “Love your guts” style…but I am sure it’ll be great. I appreciate your podcast; it gives us volunteer workers practical help and this month’s topic is very relevant- good attitudes are very important! You mentioned in the beginning of the podcast how you have “special classes”, (kickboxing, ect) and our local church started the same thing on Wednesday nights. We call it “Picture This”. We start at 5:30 with a dinner and fellowship time and then go to “Focus groups”. We do this for kids AND adults. It has revolutionized our Wednesday nights. We literally trippled our attendance!

Thanks for the mention of “Monkey in the Middle” on your podcast.

take care,
jim

How would I set up a forum such as the one you mentioned in the podcast to facilitate commununication between me and my team, etc?

I use godaddy.com for my domain (url) and hosting. It runs about $5 a month. They have a control panel where you can install SMF (Simple Machine’s Forum) for free. You become the Admin and can set up the entire forum just the way you want. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but SMF has a great website. Google Simple Machine’s Forums!
